Welcome to Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific (SIRAP 2023)
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is an honor and great pleasure for us to welcome you to the Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific 2023 (SIRAP 2023), which will be held on 28(Sat)-29(Sun) October 2023 in Tokyo. Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology will present this seminar for Asia-Pacific young interventional radiologists (IRs).
The primary educational goal of the SIRAP is to contribute actively to the development of interventional radiology in the Asia-Pacific region through formal lectures and hands-on seminars.
SIRAP has started in 2016. Young IRs learned a lot and enjoyed Japanese culture in the past three SIRAPs. Unfortunately, from 2020 to 2021, only the SIRAP web was held due to the COVID pandemic. With the convergence of the COVID pandemic, we will organize a SIRAP on-site this year.
The SIRAP 2023 will be more sophisticated and better than ever. The lectures will cover fundamental knowledge and advanced interventional radiology techniques on the first day, including lymphatic IR, emergency IR, angioplasty, and aneurysms.
Young IRs can experience a hands-on seminar using animal models and simulators on the second day. The teaching activities of the SIRAP are designed to cover all relevant aspects of each topic, from primary considerations to advanced techniques.
We believe in the possibilities of young IRs and are sure we can bridge significant bonds across Asia-Pacific after SIRAP.
We look forward to welcoming you next October when Tokyo becomes beautiful with autumn colors.
