Welcome to Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific (SIRAP 2025)
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is our great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific 2025 (SIRAP 2025), which will be held from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan. This seminar is proudly organized by the Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology and is specially designed for young interventional radiologists (IRs) from the Asia-Pacific region.
The primary educational goal of SIRAP is to actively promote the advancement of interventional radiology in Asia-Pacific through a combination of formal lectures and hands-on training sessions. Since its inception in 2016, SIRAP has offered young IRs valuable learning opportunities and a chance to experience Japanese culture.
SIRAP 2025 will be more refined and impactful than ever before. The program will feature lectures on both foundational concepts and advanced interventional radiology techniques, including Neuro Interventions, Emergency IR, Lymphatic IR, Vascular Malformations, and Aneurysm Management, scheduled for the first and third days.
On the second day, participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in hands-on training using animal models and simulators. These sessions are designed to comprehensively cover each topic—from essential principles to advanced procedures.
We believe strongly in the potential of young IRs and are confident that SIRAP 2025 will help build meaningful connections across the Asia-Pacific region.
We look forward to welcoming you next October, when Tokyo is adorned in the vibrant colors of autumn.
Sincerely,
Hiroshi Kondo
