Welcome to Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific (SIRAP 2019)
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is an honor and great pleasure for us to welcome you to the third Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific 2019 (SIRAP 2019) which will be held on 25(Fri)-27(Sun) October in 2019 in Tokyo. Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology will present this seminar for Asian-Pacific young interventional radiologists (IRs).
The primary educational goal of the SIRAP is to contribute actively to development of interventional radiology in Asian-Pacific region by formal lectures and hands-on seminar.
SIRAP has started since 2016. Young IRs learned a lot and enjoyed Japanese culture in the past three SIRAPs. The fourth SIRAP (SIRAP 2019) will be more sophisticated and be the better one than ever. The formal lectures will cover fundamental knowledge and advanced techniques of interventional radiology in various organs including peripheral and large vascular intervention, embolization, interventional oncology, and on-vascular interventions. Young IRs can experience hands-on seminar using animal models and simulators. The teaching activities of the SIRAP are designed in such a way that they cover all relevant aspects of each topic, from basic considerations to advanced techniques.
Optional tour to visit Japanese interventional radiology centers to observe the expert’s IR procedure can be available after the seminar.
We believe in possibilities of young IRs and we are sure we can bridge big bonds across Asia-Pacific region after SIRAP.
