Welcome to Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific (SIRAP web 2021)
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is our great honor and pleasure to inform you that “The Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific (SIRAP)” will be held as a virtual meeting from Kawasaki, Japan on December 4th (Sat), 2021.
The SIRAP was originally composed of a 3-days program of formal lectures and hands-on seminars using animal/dry models and simulators. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the global trend, we, Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (JSIR), will organize the web-based online seminar as on the previous seminars. The next seminar will focus on neuro-IR and be named as “SIRAP-web 2021 (neuro-IR)”.
The next “SIRAP-web 2021 (neuro-IR)” will compose on-line lectures, video demonstrations, and case discussions with focusing on the basics of neuro-IR, thrombectomy, coil embolization of intracranial aneurysm, and embolization of AVM/AVF using the liquid embolic material. These treatment techniques are of significant importance to care the patients suffering from the cerebrovascular diseases. The parts of lectures and case discussions will be presented by collaborators from Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR), European Society of Interventional Radiology (ESIR), and Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). We believe SIRAP-web 2021 (neuro-IR) will contribute to the education and communication for all young IRists as well as IRists willing to engaging neuro-IR Asian-Pacific region.
This will be 3rd web-based SIRAP after the successful completion of previous meetings focused on “non-vascular IR” and “portal venous IR”. We would like to take advantage of the previous experiments and to maturate this type of meeting having better accessibility to the presentation from the top runners. For the successful meeting, your participation is important. Please join us and enjoy this meeting. We look forward to the participation of many of you in SIRAP-web 2021 (neuro-IR)!
