Welcome to Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific (SIRAP 2022)
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is an honor and great pleasure for us to welcome you to the Seminar for Interventional Radiology in Asia-Pacific 2022(SIRAP 2022) which will be held on 29(Sat)-30(Sun) October 2022 in Tokyo. Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology will present this seminar for Asia-Pacific young interventional radiologists (IRs).
The primary educational goal of the SIRAP is to contribute actively to the development of interventional radiology in the Asia-Pacific region through formal lectures and hands-on seminars.
SIRAP has started in 2016. Young IRs learned a lot and enjoyed Japanese culture in the past three SIRAPs. Unfortunately, from 2020 to 2021, only the SIRAP web was held due to the COVID pandemic. With the convergence of the COVID pandemic, we will organize a SIRAP on-site this year.
The SIRAP 2022 will be a more sophisticated and better than ever. On the first day, the formal lectures will cover fundamental knowledge and advanced techniques of interventional radiology, including lymphatic IR, gastrointestinal bleeding, emergency IR, and UAE.
On the second day, young IRs can experience a hands-on seminar using animal models and simulators. The teaching activities of the SIRAP are designed to cover all relevant aspects of each topic, from basic considerations to advanced techniques.
We believe in possibilities of young IRs and are sure we can bridge big bonds across Asia-Pacific after SIRAP.
